Fact Sheet About IACC
Membership
IACC has more than 300 member conference centers in five chapters: Australia, Denmark, Sweden, the United Kingdom and North America. IACC has additional members in other areas of the world that are currently not represented by chapters.
New Members
IACC welcomes applications from any conference center that complies with the 30 standards of IACC’s Universal Criteria. For more information on the process, qualifications, and benefits of membership, click here.
Governance
IACC is governed by a Global Board of Directors that is representative of the membership of each chapter. There are currently 10 directors who meet four times per year, either face-to-face or via conference call.
Quality Initiative
IACC maintains a Quality Initiative within each chapter to ensure that all members comply with the 31 standards of the Universal Criteria. This gives meeting professionals the assurance of obtaining the most productive meeting environment at any IACC member conference center around the world.
Educational Programs
IACC-North America hosts an Annual Conference in March or April each year that is preceded by a Study Tour of IACC conference centers specifically geared to members from other chapters. Other chapters also host Study Tours, often in conjunction with their Annual General Meeting. All chapters offer additional educational programs, Study Tours and staff exchanges for the benefit of their own members and members from other chapters.
Communications
IACC maintains a comprehensive web site that features a searchable database of all IACC members around the world, plus other tools for meeting professionals and an array of resources for members.
"IACC Around the Globe" is published semiannually and includes issues of interest, activities, programs and other news pertaining to IACC members globally.
Copper Skillet Competition
IACC sponsors an annual competition through which each chapter recognizes the best chef from among its members. The winners in each chapter then battle for the Copper Skillet Award which recognizes the best chef in IACC.
